We are in the midst of an unprecedented time. The future is unknown as we are in lockdown with mandated stay-at-home restrictions. Your kids are out of school for the rest of the school year. You have spent money stocking up on all of the essentials to ensure your family is safe during this time. The list goes on.

So is running your business still that important when you’re worried about the safety of your own life and others you love? It's a great question. Read on to hear why I say I suggest you DOUBLE DOWN on your business right now!

Trust me when I say that I understand all of the feels. I’m a business owner myself. In fact, I opened my first brick and mortar location in October 2008, in the midst of a major recession. And this crisis reminds me of that time.

So what is there to do? Are you an opportunist trying to “make it” during this time? Are you idle? Or are you using this time to go all-in or double-down on your business?

This is a great time to get real with yourself, and ask the question: Am I providing value in the world?

Can I put my head down at night and have that deep sense of knowing that I did the best I could today? If the answer is yes to either of the questions above. I suggest you DOUBLE DOWN on your business right now.

We all know that some businesses are already closing their doors, and others are executing their exit plans as the days pass. I truly believe that the type of businesses that are truly creating impact and making a difference in others' lives are going to, not only survive, but thrive beyond this pandemic.

This is a perfect time to get super essential and resourceful.

What matters the most in your business right now?
What is the one thing you can do to move the needle forward?
Give it some thought and put a plan of action in place to execute daily.

If you’re committed to your mission, you have nothing to worry about. This is the exact time when you need to feel the fear, embrace the resistance and do it anyway. Stick with it! You owe it to yourself and the rest of the people that need your help to continue to move forward. This is a test of your commitment and vision. Is your purpose bigger than your ego?

I-NSPIRATION - Where do you see your business a year from now? And why is it important to you?

S-TOPPING - What is stopping you from achieving your goals? What are your current life and business challenges?

E-VALUATION/ PLAN/ OFFER - Share program details, offer a solution or plan that you have for them (your products or services). Then ask the magic question: What did you like about what I said?

R-ECEIVE Listen in silence. Allow time for them to receive the plan you shared, and for you to receive their answer.

V-ALUE and VISION. Access the value you were able to provide them through your offer. Has your belief in them been received accordingly? In other words, do you really believe that with you plan and support that they can achieve the transformation they need in their life and business. Do you believe in them? Provide them a picture of your vision for them once again if necessary. Handle any objections here.
